Kaysville here we come

So here I am posting after a very log time. I hate to post without picts, but here I am anyway. We are under contract for a house in Kaysville!! It's on a 1/2 acre. Jason was raised on a farm so I know have a little more land warms his heart. We will have space for our family and I am so excited about that!!! We will close sometime between October 2 and 15. Who knows? We are super excited and super sad at the same time. It was horrible telling our friends in our ward. I cried many times telling people. I thought I should just post it on Facebook and not say anything, but figured that was the chicken way out. We are renting our West Valley house. So we are working like crazy to get things going. Between packing, cleaning, answering phone calls, cleaning, showing the house, packing etc. Well you get the idea!! I will post pictures when I can. Kaysville here we come!

Last Day of School

My Nikki and I have been carpooling! On the last day of school she came to pick Bridger up with this awesome decorated van! The kids had so much fun riding to school in it! This is Bridger's teacher Miss Jones. She is an excellent teacher and we are so glad he had her!

Birthday Party

We have had so much going on we decided to have the boys birthday party in June! It was so much fun. We had 11 kids come and they had a blast playing water games. Vince & Wanja came and the boys love having them around. They are the best fan club for the boys!

Dr. Visit

Today the boys had their well-child check ups. They are healthy and strong. Bridger weighs 46 pounds and Kennin weighs 43 pounds. Bridger is 3 feet 8 inches and Kennin is 3 feet 6 inches. I can't believe that they are 2 years apart. Kennin is just a sturdy kid. I still have people ask me if they are twins.

Happy Birthday Kennin & Bridger

The boys both had wonderful birthday's. I can't believe they are getting so big! Bridger is 6 and Kennin is 4. Bridger's b-day is the 13th and he got a new chess set!

Nan & Papa Dave gave him this awesome picture of Nephi.

Larry & Jenny Marshall come and home teach us. They made the boys this Lightening McQueen cake. Larry is an awesome man! He takes good care of us!

Vince & Wanja always find the most awesome toys. Wanja swears it's because Vince likes being in the toy store. The boys love Star Wars and now they have their own Star Wars ships. They know the exact names and who the characters are. They line them up and have battles.

Kennin got a cool set of Lego's.

Nana & Papa Dave gave hime really neat picture. He says the picture is to remind him of Jesus.

The boys enjoyed all the phone calls! Thanks to everyone who made the boys birthday's great!

Sienna's walking

Sienna took her first steps a few weeks ago, but this week she has been pretty steady. Sorry about the long video. I don't know how to edit it.

Yesterday the boys and I made freezer jam. They were such a big help! They loved to stir and they stirred and stirred and stirred. They stayed and helped until every bit of it was done. It's my favorite kind of project to do together.

Personal Best

I have been using a grocery website to save money on our groceries. It has been awesome!! I save at least 30% each trip, but sometimes I have even gotten things for free. I was so excited. Today was one of those days. So I thought I would share it with you. I don't know if you can see the receipt, but I bought 4 boxes of cereal. I paid $3.47, used $15.08 in coupons and then they gave me a coupon for $3 off my next purchase. If you do the math that makes each box of cereal 11 cents. Can't go wrong with that. Too bad there was a limit!!

Kennin's tools

Kennin takes this sword & flashlight everywhere. If he doesn't have pockets he puts a belt on and hangs the sword & flashlight on them.

Sienna's hair

Sienna has so much hair!! It grows so fast and there is so much of it! These are her first pigtails with all of her hair.

Visit from Giffords

We had so much fun with the Gifford's at our house. To our delight they even stayed an extra day!! Jake is adorable! The boys took were so nice to him and took good care of him (Kennin especially). Jake is getting sooo big. The best part of our visit was knowing that the Giffords will be back in less than 3 months to visit again!! I tried to get a picture with all of the kids, but they didn't want to sit still. It was pretty funny.

Crazy Hat Day

Bridger got all kinds of attention for the craziest hat! He was excited because at the spirit assembly he was featured in the slide show. Being able to twist balloons has come in handy in all kinds of ways! Who knew it would make Bridger a superstar?

Crazy Hair Day

This week is spirit week at Bridger's school. Because he wears a uniform it's a big deal when they get t o "dress up" or alter that. Today was crazy hair day. So we skipped the much needed haircut this week and made his hair truly crazy. He asked me if he could dye it green! I think he is a teenager in disguise!

Happy first Birthday Sienna!

Sienna liked the ice cream cake I made her, but was very feminine and dainty when she ate it. There was no smearing it through her hair, she just enjoyed the good stuff!

the boys were so disappointed when she was sick because she couldn't eat her cake. They kept saying "not on her birthday...oh man...not on her birthday". No one has a better fan club that Sienna!!

The boys decorated wrapping paper for her. It had several spaceships with battleguns on it. It's hard to see the details because when the battle started it blew up the bad guys. What was the secret weapon you ask? Pink & black markers!

We decided to celebrate our "leapling's" birthday on the 28th. It didn't turn out to be much of a birthday because she got the stomach flu. She felt like opening one present, but that was it!
Thanks for the ABC book Grandma and Grandpa Jones!!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is my favorite Holiday! I had this great idea to dress the kids up and take pictures to send out to everyone. The idea was good, but the pictures didn't quite turn out how I wanted. Here is the end result. We will try again next year. Maybe the kids will be ready then for their Valentine's debut!
