Opening the 4-wheeler

Kennin loves this 4-wheeler given to him by Grandpa & Grandma Jones. It was so fun to watch him open it. You almost forget how much fun your birthday is when you're 5!!

Happy B-day Kennin

I can't believe Kennin is five! It feels like my eyes are connected to a water hose! He is getting so big and is such an important part of our family! He received the Star Wars and some Bakugans, which he loves and has been wonderful about sharing with his siblings. He chose a pirate chest birthday cake. He and Sienna "helped" me make it and he loved it!! Miss Jamie asked me to go to pre-school and make the kids balloon toys which was a highlight of my day and Kennin got to sit in the birthday chair and be the "King". It was a great day.

hydroseed is done...almost

Jason sat down on the neighbors grass to take a phone call and this is how I found him. He has been working all day and into the night. He is exhausted, but he keeps going.

If you look really close you can see a green tinge on the dirt. That is the seed. Our property goes back to where the wheelbarrow is.

It has been a crazy week. We have been working like crazy to get the yard ready to hydroseed. Jason looks like he is going to fall asleep standing up! This week has made me so grateful for good neighbors. Thursday night at 11:00 there were neighbors here helping Jason and Friday evening our back door neighbors invited us over for dinner. We even had a neighbor work with Jason all day Friday and come back Saturday to help!! We have only lived here 8 months and I feel so blessed to be surrounded by amazing people. They are wonderful!! We finally got everything ready and the hydroseeding truck broke when they were about 80% done with our lawn. The guy will come back next week and I am so excited to sit back and "watch the grass grow"!!!

Bridger is 7

We had such a fun day on Bridger's b-day. He was so excited and he told me is was a "fantastic" day. He didn't have to do his chores and that just thrilled him. He went first on every game we played. He was all smiles and had such a good day. His cake wasn't quite perfects because I had so much "help" from Sienna. After I took this picture she climbed on the counter and put her hand in the frosting. Bridger refrosted it later that day and thought it was awesome he could frost it however he wanted (I conveniently left out why he needed to frost his own cake). Kennin got a Star Wars action figure for Bridger's b-day. Jason & I decided it's more fun to get an action figure if your brother gets one too! We were right. They have been playing with then non-stop! I can't believe he is 7!! He is getting so big!

I haven't made bread since before Bridger was born so I was very excited to receive a set of awesome bread pans for Mother's Day!! My first batch of bread turned out perfect!!

Now you see it...

The kids and the balls needed a bath!!
