The birthday cake fiasco
I was trying to be so prepared and make Sienna's b-day cake a day early! I thought it looked so cute! Jason was on the ball and took a picture first thing!
When I went to the fridge to pull it out this morning it looked like this. It looks like it is bleeding and they boys thought it was awesome! Although I knew it would taste good I wasn't too excited about serving it to people other than our family. Look at it- the skittles look like bullet holes!
After the bleeding episode we refrosted it with whipped cream and the boys decorated it. by this time the cake had a layer of frosting, then whipped cream, then candy, another layer of whipped cream and more candy. I think any child would like it in spite of how it looked!
Wii Olympics
Vince and Wanja brought the Wii over last night so we could have our own Olympics. when the games was over we had a medals ceremony because they had even brought medals!! The boys loved wearing there medals. When they got ready for church this morning they put there medals on! They didn't wear them to church, but they made up some awesome games with them the rest of the day!

Sienna's first...sniff...haircut
I have putting off cutting Sienna's hair. If you comb it out straight it goes halfway down her back. Doing her hair this week made me realize it was time.
BEFORE...
I took off about 4 inches. It looks nice and is easier to style. She held very still because Bridger gave her a blue sucker. It still has curl in the bottom!! Maybe she will get Jones hair!!

Painting...
Fourteen paint swatches, many late nights, tons of taping (until Giffords gave us a new edger tool), and two paint sticks later we are done painting the main level of our house! (For the record I did make Jason pose for this picture. He was a good sport about it. I just hate to post without pictures.)
